About Principal

Dr. V.Job Kuruvila took his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Calicut, Kerala and MBA & M.Tech. (Mechanical-Production) from Cochin University of Science & Technology. He has more than 27 years of experience in Industry, having served both public Sector and private Sector in various capacities like chief Engineer, Deputy General Manager (Projects), General Manager and CEO. 
  
In 1987, he was sponsored by Government of India under Colombo Plan and attended a course in Maintenance and Project Management at "Production Engineering Research Association" (PERA) Leicester, England. He worked as a consultant for UNIDO and WHO from 1995-1997. He has traveled extensively in UK, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Austria, Iraq and Israel as a consultant. He has vast experience in Mechanical Maintenance and Production, Project Management, Technology Development & Transfer and General Administration.

In 1997, he joined Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College, Chennai as Professor and worked as HOD & Vice Principal and later as Controller of Examinations when the College acquired the status of Deemed University. He is a member/fellow of several professional bodies and has written a book on "Innovation and Creativity", which is introduced as a new subject for Dr. M.G.R. deemed University. His fields of Interest are Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Quality Management and Epistemology.   He has  taken charge as Principal of Toc H Institute of Science & Technology, since September 2004.

He has been awarded Ph.D in Epistemology by Madras University in 2007
